My work is for adults who want more than insight alone.

Who this is for

You understand the patterns. You still feel stuck in them.

You may have read, researched, reflected, and tried to move on — yet still find yourself overwhelmed, dysregulated, self-doubting, or pulled back into familiar dynamics.

You might be dealing with the lasting effects of emotional abuse, narcissistic abuse, controlling relationships, complex family dynamics, or childhood experiences that continue to shape how safe you feel with yourself and others.

Therapy can help you process what has happened, understand the impact it has had on you, and begin to rebuild self-trust, emotional stability, and healthier ways of relating.

Areas of support

Support for the lasting effects of relational trauma

Relational trauma & emotional abuse

Processing the impact of damaging relationship dynamics, coercive control, and chronic emotional harm that has left its mark on how you feel about yourself.

Narcissistic abuse recovery

Understanding and recovering from narcissistic abuse in partner or family relationships — including the confusion, self-doubt, and grief that often follows.

Attachment wounds & CPTSD

Addressing deep-rooted patterns from childhood, unhealthy relationship dynamics, emotional dysregulation, anxiety, and complex trauma responses.

Structured therapeutic support

For clients who want a more focused path forward — a 12-session recovery programme with exercises, check-ins, and tailored therapeutic tools.

How I work

A thoughtful, trauma-informed approach

My approach combines psychodynamic understanding with trauma-informed practice, creating a space where your experiences can be explored with care, depth, and clarity.

Together, we look at the patterns, beliefs, and survival responses that may have developed over time, and work towards greater stability, agency, and healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.

About Katherine

Experienced, compassionate, and grounded

I bring together academic study, professional training, therapeutic experience, and a deep understanding of the impact that difficult relationships can have on a person's sense of self.

My aim is to offer a space that feels safe, clear, and non-judgemental — somewhere you can begin to make sense of what you have lived through and move towards a more stable, confident, and connected way of being.

I have a specialist interest in relational trauma, emotional abuse, narcissistic abuse recovery, CPTSD, and the attachment patterns that shape how safe we feel in relationships. Both face-to-face in Leeds and Horsforth, and online across the UK.
