a calm place to begin

Begin a conversation

Whether you are ready to book an initial consultation or simply want to ask a question, you are welcome to get in touch. There is no pressure and no obligation.

A simple first step

You do not need to have everything figured out

Taking the first step towards therapy can feel daunting. You might not be sure what to say, or whether now is the right time. That is completely normal.

Reaching out is enough. You do not need a clear idea of what you want to work on — just a willingness to begin a conversation. Everything else can be explored together.

Book a consultation

Initial consultation

The initial consultation is a calm, 20-minute conversation (£45) where you can share a little about what is bringing you to therapy and ask any questions you may have.

It is an opportunity to get a sense of how I work and whether the therapeutic relationship feels like the right fit. There is no commitment required.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about getting started

There is no right or wrong thing to say. You might share a little about what is bringing you to therapy, or simply let me know you are interested in booking a consultation. I welcome all enquiries and will guide the conversation from there.

I aim to respond to all enquiries within 24 hours during weekdays. If you contact me over a weekend or bank holiday, I will reply on the following working day.

No. You do not need a referral to begin private therapy. You can get in touch directly and we will arrange a consultation at a time that works for you.

Yes. I offer face-to-face sessions in Leeds and Horsforth, and online sessions via a secure video platform for clients anywhere in the UK.

The initial consultation is £45 for a 20-minute session. It is a chance to explore what is bringing you to therapy and ask any questions. There is no obligation to continue afterwards.

That is completely understandable. The initial consultation is designed for exactly this — to help you explore whether therapy feels like the right step, without any pressure or commitment. Many people begin feeling unsure, and that is okay.
